About us
The performance aftermarket, both 2 and 4 wheel was born on race tracks around the world. Enthusiasts in their single car garages grinding aluminum and welding steel late into the night, all in the hopes of a quicker ET or a higher top speed. For many it stayed on the local tracks, a select few translated their passion for performance into global enterprises. In 1958 George Smith chose the latter and across the next sixty plus years S&S Cycle would mature from grassroots racing effort to world class manufacturer and OEM partner. All the while racing has remained a core competency, from speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats to multi year championships in American Flat Track, S&S is the go to for high performance on and off the race track.

S&S Cycle tags JJ Braun for Key Account & Business Development Manager Role S&S Cycle continues a multiyear growth trajectory and recently announced another addition to our sales team. Beginning in May, Jeremy (JJ) Braun will manage key accounts as well as handling business development responsibilities from our Viola Wisconsin headquarters. Braun comes to S&S after spending the last few years driving sales in the automation space and before that a decade at Harley Davidson, “JJ brings solid experience, a passion for motorcycles and the aftermarket and a rider’s perspective that makes him a perfect fit for S&S.” Shares VP of sales Eric Bondy. Braun currently owns and rides a Cross Bones and a late model bagger and like all S&S faithful is eyeing performance parts for both. Look for JJ to make it out to key industry events as part of his ongoing support of future growth.

The upper Midwest is home to a spectacular off-road trail system that threads through lush woods and abundant lakes, but offers little opportunity to truly drive in anger. Mix in a long winter and the itch to hold a throttle to the floor is nearly overwhelming. That was until we turned our attention to Autocross. These timed events are the perfect opportunity to explore Hp gains without upsetting the local rangers and thanks to the SCCA are abundant and inexpensive. Our SxS of choice would be a turbocharged KRX1000, a rig that sans forced induction would be little threat to the Corvettes and Miata’s of the Autocross space, but fitted with the S&S turbo kit would put it in the top five best times of our first test & tune.
